Details:
This example shows a user taking a phone message for "Marilyn Saunders"
from "Cynthia Javis".
Note the following:
To open the Message
Composer, you click on the message area to the left of a user's name
on the In/Out Board display.
- Your name is automatically filled in the "From" field, but you can easily
type over it if you are taking a message from someone else.
- The checkboxes for common messages such as "Please call" or "Will call
again" allow many telephone messages to be taken without even typing
any message text.
- If you omit the message subject, the Message Composer will generate one
for you when you send the message. For example, if you check "Please
call", and leave the subject blank, StatusView will set the subject to
"Please call" for you.
- You can print a message before you send it. This can be useful
if you wish to keep a printed record of an important message. (Printing
is only available with a registered StatusView license.)
