Details:
The Message Reader is opened by selecting "Read" from the Message Box,
and presents one message at a time.
Note the following:
- Once you open the Message Reader, you can move to the next or previous
message using the corresponding buttons, without closing the reader.
- "Forward" and "Reply" functions create a new message containing a copy
of the message you are reading, ready for you to add your comments or
reply text.
- You can print the message to any Windows printer. (Printing is only
available with a registered license.)
- You can edit a message directly and save the changes. This
feature can be used to:
- Add your own notes to a message which someone has sent to you.
- Add to a previous message you have sent to someone, instead of
sending a second message. (Whenever you edit a message, it is
marked as "new" again, and the receiver is notified.)
- Add notes to a coworker's message if you've handled the message
for them in their absence. (Here again, the message remains
marked as "new" until the intended recipient reads it.) When
your coworker returns to the office, they will see the original
message, as well as your notes showing that you've already
handled the message for them.
- You can always see who originally entered a message, when, and from which
computer, by looking in the lower right-hand corner of the Message
Reader.
