The Configuration Assistant shows you how to install StatusView:
StatusView is very easy to setup and use. However, no matter how easy a program is to use, it still takes some time to learn how to use it.
For this reason, StatusView includes the Configuration Assistant to guide you through the most important part of the installation - the initialization of the StatusView database. The Configuration Assistant provides step-by-step instructions on your screen, so you don't need to look for answers in the help file.
The example above shows the entry of new users into the StatusView database. As you use the Configuration Assistant, you are also learning the basics of the Administration Utility, which you will use on an ongoing basis to manage your StatusView system. Once you complete the database initialization procedure, the Configuration Assistant automatically brings the new database online, and starts the main StatusView program on your system.
