Do I have to tell you who I am to download your software?
Answer:
Not really!
We can't force you to enter accurate information into the download form.
That's up to you. However, we want you to know why we ask you for it, and
how we use it:
- We maintain a database of "downloaders" strictly for our own purposes.
We do NOT make this information available to any other parties.
- We use this information to contact you when we have update information
about StatusView. We do NOT use it to spam you with email messages!
- We use the information you provide for product research and planning.
For example, we like to know what types of network operating systems
and what versions of Windows people are using.
- Occasionally we survey a random selection of users to collect more
detailed information than the basic information on the download form.
If you do provide us with accurate information, we appreciate it. If not,
that's ok too.
Either way, you're welcome to download and use StatusView at no charge,
and we hope you will find it useful in your office!
